Music Creation (120 ECTS credits)
Higher Education Program for Those Who Want to Work with Music
Do you want to study music in Sweden and become an artist, music producer, or songwriter? BEMU’s artistic higher education program in Music Creation provides you with the right skills for a career in the music industry — both nationally and internationally. The program lasts for two years (120 ECTS credits) and leads to an artistic higher education degree. You will develop your music creation, your stage presence and artistic abilities, while also learning how the music industry works in practice.
Content
The program includes courses in music production, songwriting, artist development, and music industry studies. You will work both practically and theoretically, with a focus on real-world projects. 15 ECTS credits consist of elective courses. The program concludes with a degree project (7.5 ECTS credits).
Eligibility & Student Finance
General eligibility requirements plus a passed entrance audition/application test. The program is eligible for Swedish student finance (CSN).
